BeX has come a long way in the past 12 months, building her sound and song structure, which recently captured the attention of Mr Greg Haver (Manic St Preachers, Melanie C producer).
BeX went in to the studios at Modern World to record her debut EP with Greg, BeX was accompanied by great guest musicians, from the very top of the tree; Nick Nasmyth Keyboards & Piano (Manic St Preachers, Melanie C), Andy Taylor Acoustic & Electric guitar (Nicky Wire – Manic St Preachers & Portishead), Greg Haver Producer (Drums & Percussion).
BeX recorded her 3 track EP, all original songs co-written with her writing partners, the sound and songs are wonderful, capturing her natural ability to deliver powerful vocal, but also to capture her vulnerable side looking inside the artist from a different perspective. This is not all, BeX was captured on film the whole week, with the independent film company ”Little Earth” from Dundee Scotland, this will be more of a journey capturing the real beauty of the artist within the studio environment, this transcended into interviews with the whole team as the week went on. The final part was working in some beautiful locations across the Gloucestershire countryside, for BeX promo documentary….. as the journey unfolds.
We will keep you all updated on the progress of BeX, but one thing is for sure the ride is going to be a great journey watching BeX grow into the artist, we all know she can be!!
